Trial lawyer, scholar, and advocate — devoted entirely to victims of serious negligence.
With over thirty-five years of trial experience, Michael A. Pohl devotes his entire practice to representing victims of serious negligence-related tragedies.
He has successfully represented clients in cases involving automobile accidents, manufacturing defects, pharmaceutical liabilities, construction site injuries, and more. His clients come from across the United States and Mexico, as well as Central and South America.
Mr. Pohl is particularly experienced in vehicle rollover accidents, representing victims exclusively against automotive and tire manufacturers — never the other way around. He has handled rollover cases for nearly every make and model of SUV, pickup, or van, and tire failure cases involving virtually all tire brands. He has also successfully managed numerous cases involving U.S.-licensed vehicles in rollover accidents on Mexican soil, a testament to his command of complex international litigation.
Mr. Pohl earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Texas A&M University–Commerce and his Juris Doctorate, magna cum laude, from the University of Houston, where he also served as Associate Editor of the Houston Law Review. He is admitted to practice in Texas (since 1974) and Colorado, as well as before the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and several U.S. District Courts in Texas.
